After long deliberation, and several enjoyable taster sessions with our good friends and suppliers Cabroso, we are very pleased to reveal the new additions to our wine list - a handpicked selection of delightful summery whites and robust reds bursting with flavour to enhance your meals with us here at Brunel's.
Our ever popular selection of New Zealand, French, Australian and Italian whites are joined by two rather special Spanish wines - a fabulously fruity and floral Albarino, and an elegantly dry Verdejo, absolutely knockout with our seafood dishes. We can also now offer a gorgeous South African Chenin Blanc, positively popping with lush tropical fruit, as well as a rather special high end Australian Chardonnay from Domaine Naturaliste - you'll struggle to find a better example of how good this wine can be, full of grapefruit, spiced pear and creamy oak notes.
Bolstering our selection of the finest reds, we now have in the cellar a corking Montepulciano, the Primasole, a new Rioja from Spain by Cune, bursting with vanilla, soft red fruit and cinnamon, and, due to popular demand, we now also stock what we believe to be one of the finest Chilean Merlots out there, the Aromas De Chile, perfect for all dining, tinged with blueberry and plum. Our favourite though, has to be the Cleefs Pinotage, a much maligned grape, but, once tried never forgotten, a riot of intense mulberry, coffee and tobacco flavours that is brilliant with our red meat and game dishes.
